Hey Everyone, we’ve been a bit quiet as we’ve been working behind-the-scenes to bring you a fantastic 2018 event.
The first two years have been quite the learning process, and year three is going to be better than ever as we’re really starting to find our stride.
If you weren’t already aware, the official LoopConf hotel is the Little America. Those who stayed there last year thought it was a fantastic place to rest their head, so we’re going back again.
We recommend the Tower rooms over the Garden rooms as they’re newly renovated and also in a tower (not just a clever name!) with fantastic views of Downtown Salt Lake City. The Tower rooms are available for a special rate of $199 that you can only get if you book through our special link.
We do have a somewhat limited room block so book early to ensure you get a great room at the event.
Ticket sales will begin at 10am Mountain time (9am Cupertino, 10am Denver, 11am Dallas, and Noon Philadelphia) tomorrow, November 17th.
The first ticket sales will be open to Alumni and Early Bird buyers. If you’ve been to LoopConf before, you’ll get a super special rate of $449, and Early Birds will be $499.
The Early Bird and Alumni period will last until November 30th. On December 1st, General Admission tickets will be available for $599. Do yourself a favor and save yourself and your company some cash by buying in early. You’ll be happy you did.
Here’s the direct link to our ticket page that you can bookmark for easy access tomorrow: https://ti.to/loopconf/loopconf2018
We’ve been thrilled by the response to our call for speakers so far! 🎉 The call officially ends on November 21st at midnight Mountain time (11pm Cupertino, midnight Denver, 1am Dallas, and 2am Philadelphia). We’ll be making speaker selections immediately after so they’ll be ready to announce when our general admission tickets go on sale December 1st.
If you haven’t submitted a talk yet but are interested in speaking, take the plunge. Remember that LoopConf covers all travel and accommodation for speakers as well as a great night out on the town, and a special speaker gift as our thanks to you.
One Last Note
LoopConf is a developer event for everyone, and we truly mean it. Last year an attendee told me they felt like they were “coming home”, even though it was their first time in Salt Lake City and their first time at LoopConf. That really struck me, because it’s truly the type of environment we strive to create. We want everyone to feel like they’re coming home.
So please come home with us in February. Be eager to learn and make new connections, and we’ll facilitate the rest (awesome food, fun, and people, and learning). See you bright and early tomorrow!
